AVT Deliveries, operated by Adam Malecki ("we", "us", "our"), is a courier business based in Staffordshire, providing same-day, next-day, and ADR (dangerous goods) transport. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect

When you use our Contact form or ADR Form, we collect:

– Your name and email address
– Collection and delivery addresses
– What you’re sending, and its weight
– Any equipment or vehicle preferences you select (tail-lift, pallet truck, fork-lift, handball, curtain-side, box/panel)
– For ADR enquiries: UN Number, quantity, and packing group for each substance

We only collect what’s needed to respond to your enquiry and arrange your delivery.

Why we collect it

We use this information solely to handle your specific enquiry – to work out pricing, plan the job, and get in touch with you. We do not use it for marketing, newsletters, or any other purpose, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Who we share it with

To provide our service, some of your information passes through the following third parties:

– Cloudflare Turnstile – checks that form submissions come from a real person, not a bot
– OpenRouteService – we send the text of your collection and delivery addresses to calculate distance and estimated driving time
– freightutils.com – for ADR enquiries, we send the substance details you provide (UN Number, quantity, packing group) to calculate ADR classification points

If your enquiry becomes a job that we subcontract, only the subcontractor handling your specific job receives your details, and only what they need to complete it properly.

We do not use Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, or any similar tracking tools on this site, and this site does not use cookies that require consent.

How long we keep your data

If your enquiry doesn’t turn into a booked job, we don’t keep it for long – usually no more than around 3 months.

If your enquiry becomes a job, our invoice and related job paperwork (Delivery Note, Collection Note, and for ADR jobs, the Dangerous Goods Note) hold the record of what was carried out. We’re required by HMRC to keep financial records, including invoices, for 6 years. Your original enquiry has no fixed retention period beyond that.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

– Ask what personal data we hold about you
– Ask us to correct inaccurate data
– Ask us to delete your data
– Object to how we use your data
– Ask for a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email].

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Contact us

Questions about this policy or your data: [email].
If you’d rather not use email, you can send the same request through the form on our Contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new service that processes your data. Any changes will be posted on this page.
